Distinguished guests, faculty and staff, family, friends, and most importantly fellow graduates.

Good afternoon, everyone!

Today marks the end of one chapter and the exciting beginning of another. We stand at the threshold of possibility, not because everything is certain, but because we’ve proven that we can rise through uncertainty, challenge, and change.

Each one of us has taken a unique journey to arrive at this moment. Some of us juggled jobs and studies. Some of us were the first in our families to walk this path. And all of us no matter our backgrounds, we found ourselves tested in ways we didn’t expect. But here we are.  Not just surviving, but thriving. Not just dreaming, but achieving.

This isn’t just a celebration of what we’ve learned from books or lectures. It’s a celebration of resilience, growth, community. We’ve learned the art of showing up even when it’s hard, the power of asking for help, and the strength that comes from standing together.

Our time here has been more than just academic. Living and studying in China has opened our eyes to a nation that masterfully blends tradition and innovation. Beijing became a home away from home; where the rhythm of daily life felt intimately ours. The site of the Communist Party Congress in Shanghai, witnessing the roots of a political journey. The innovation park in Hangzhou reminds us of the world’s connection. From the ancient history of Xi’An, seeing the Terracotta Warriors in person, tasting handmade noodles, dumplings and spicy hotpot, every place had its own exceptional story to tell.

One of my favorite highlights of this journey was, picking up Chinese words from my volleyball teammates. I would go back and tell my friends things like “wǒ de” or “wǒ lái le,” and they wouldn’t believe they were real words until our lǎoshī taught them in class! And we would just laugh and say, “See? I told you!” these moments, small yet significant, deepened our understanding of culture and belonging.

To our professors, mentors and our beloved coordinator, thank you for pushing us, guiding us, and believing in us. To our families and friends thank you for cheering us on, for your patience and sacrifices.

To my fellow graduates, as some of us prepare to return to our home countries and diverse paths, let us remember this; we are like seeds that Peking University has scattered. The knowledge, the values and the skills that has been bestowed upon us are not just credentials, they are the beginnings of something powerful.

Now it is up to us to be a fertile ground, a ground that nurtures change, cultivates hope, and bears fruit wherever we are planted. We may bloom in different fields, face different climates, and take different journeys, but the essence of what has been sown is us is the same:excellence and purpose.

At this parting moment, all past images are rolling in my mind. We have witnessed the speed of China, the joy of wearing traditional Chinese costumes, the passion of playing with my volleyball team mates, the tension of preparing for exams and papers, and so on. We integrated into China and Peking University. Yanyuan has been more than a place of study, it has been a place of discovery, of growth, and so much more. It is where we found our voices, challenged our limits, built lifelong friendships, and created memories that will stay with us forever.

To the Chinese government, Peking University and the School of Government, we say thank you for your support. Your support did not just change one life, it will ripple through our communities and beyond. This connection transcends geographical and political boundaries, persisting as an enduring force that unites us across cultures, distances, and temporal divides.

尊敬的各位来宾、教职员工、亲爱的家人、朋友们，以及最重要的——我的毕业生同学们：  

    大家下午好！

    今天，我们站在一个篇章的终点，也是另一个激动人心的起点。此刻我们面对的不仅是确定的未来，更是我们共同证明过的——在不确定、挑战与变革中依然能够崛起的信念。  

    在座的每个人都带着独特的故事来到这里。有人边工作边求学，有人是家族中第一个叩响知识之门的人。无论来自何方，我们都经历了意想不到的考验。但今天，我们不仅幸存，更在绽放；不仅怀揣梦想，更实现了梦想。这不仅是对书本知识的庆祝，更是对韧性、成长与共同体精神的礼赞。我们学会了在艰难时依然坚持，懂得了求助的力量，更见证了团结带来的巨大能量。 

    这段英皇娱乐的求学时光远不止于课堂。在中国的生活让我们亲眼目睹传统与创新的完美交融：北京成为我们离开几日就会想念的第二故乡，上海中共一大会址让我们触摸历史的脉搏，杭州的创新园区提醒着我们世界的紧密相连。从西安的兵马俑到亲手包饺子的烟火气，每一处都在讲述着动人的故事。

    我最珍贵的记忆碎片，是跟着排球队友学中文的趣事。当我兴奋地向朋友炫耀“我的”、“我来了”时，他们总怀疑这是编造的词汇，直到老师在课堂上证实——那一刻的笑声，让文化的理解变得鲜活而温暖。  

    在此，请允许我致谢：  

    - 尊敬的教授、导师和亲爱的项目协调团队老师和助教，感谢你们的鞭策与信任；

    - 默默支持的家人朋友，你们的掌声与牺牲是我们最坚实的后盾；

    即将奔赴四方的同窗们，请记住：我们犹如北大播撒的种子。被赋予的知识与技能不仅是文凭，更是改变世界的火种。无论扎根何处，愿我们都能成为孕育希望、缔造变革的沃土。或许在不同的领域绽放，经历不同的风雨，但根植于心的北大精神永远不变——追求卓越，坚守使命。 

    此刻，万千画面在脑海闪回：见证"中国速度"的震撼，身着汉服时的欢欣，排球场上挥洒的激情，挑灯备考的紧张...我们早已将身心融入中国，融入北大这片热土。 燕园不仅是求知的殿堂，更是自我发现的旅程。在这里，我们找到声音、突破边界、收获毕生挚友，镌刻下永不褪色的青春记忆。  

    最后，向中国政府和英皇娱乐、英皇娱乐政府管理学院致以最深切的谢意。你们的支持不仅仅改变了一个人的命运，它将在我们的社会乃至更广阔的范围内产生深远的影响。这种联系超越了地理和政治的界限，成为一种持久的力量，跨越文化、距离和时间的鸿沟，将我们紧密地团结在一起！
